A Closer Look-My Stockpile

Here's a closer look at my toiletry stockpile. I have a shelf in my bedroom closet that is the perfect size to hold many of my items.

I recently started to try and buy toilet paper and paper towels to stockpile since I read about the Toilet Paper Principle!

My lotion, body wash, and hair supplies shelf is the one that I have the largest stockpile of. Body Wash, Shampoo, and Lotion can typically be free when you combine coupons with sale items and instant rebates at the drugstore (Yep, most of these items pictured were FREE!). I have so much body wash right now that I am about to take some to our church's food pantry.

Ah, deodorant. Again, one of those free items when you combine coupons with sales and instant rebates. My husband is pretty brand specific so I only buy him Old Spice. For me and my oldest daughter, we will try anything-lol! Another thing I have been getting for very little change is the toilet paper wipes. Having 3 girls, these get used a lot in our house!

Feminine Care items can be expensive. I never pay full price though!

This is my Misc shelf. Right now, I have 4 Finish Dishwasher Detergents that I got for around $1.00 each after using a high-value printable coupon. I also have some cleaning supplies and OFF products that I got for free after a sale last year. Sunscreen is also one of those items that I barely pay money for and I bought two Neutragena Sprays for around $2. First aid is another one of those items that you always need-my 6 year old loves Strawberry Shortcake so the bandages I bought for .50 each thrilled her!

And here is where I keep a few more of the smaller items: oral care, razors, and misc items (like samples).

As you can see, my stockpile isn't more than what we can use in a year or so. I would say that most of the items were 50-75% retail or free after coupons and in store rebates. At the You CAN Save! Workshop, I will show you how to get your own stockpile going!
